Ricci Twins

Isabella and Isaac are the sweetest twins. Isaac smiles all the time. Isabella doesn't, but she is still so cute. They really don't like to be close together, which isn't like most twins. I get great shot separate but not together. I have photographed then at least 6 times since their birth and I only have a handful of grerat shots of them together. Oh how I love a challenge.

Craig Richards, Mountain Valley High

A while ago Craig had a photo shoot on a cloudy rainy day. It finally cleared up a bit but got dark so early we had to rescedule his shoot to get water shots he wanted and a better variety of portrats. We will be reshooting Monday the 11th and are praying for SUN!

D.J. Richards, Dirigo Hogh

I have known D.J. Most of his life. His mother and Myself attended Cosmetology School together and have known each other for over 24 years. They live at one the most beautiful spots in Maine. I am very fortunate that they allow me photograph on their gorgeous property. Thank you Shelly!
D.J. is an incredible young man. He has his own Disc Jockey business, and is doing very well. He is a go getter, and is always doing or helping someone. I have had the opportunity to watch him grow into a very handsome, confident, responsible, pleasant, young adult. I have no doubt that D. J. will master anything he sets out to do.

NATIONAL COMPETITION AWARDS!

I am very pleased to announce that I received 3 merits towards my master in Photography.
I now have a total 7 merits out of 24 to get my masters.
"Dark Melody merited, and "A bridge to work" merited and went "Loan". Which means it will be on display at the National Photographers Association In Phoenix Arizona January 09, then on it's way to be displayed around the country.
There was 4,514 entries from some of the best professional photographers from not only the U.S. but world wide. 39% merited and went in the general collection. Only 15% went in the loan collection. I am very honored to have been chosen to be in these two collections.
I will be attending the New England Photographers Annual Convention this September. I have 3 of my four competition prints ready to send I am still visualizing my last. It is still in the works, or should I say it is still in my head. I haven't shot it yet. I would love to display them on the blog, but I can't. You'll have to check back after the competition, It will be worth it. I have one that I really really love. Maybe this one will merit too. I can only hope.

Hayley Jones, Mountain Valley High

Hayley had a rainy day for her session. It seems to be the norm lately. I have quite a few seniors to do location shoots for. I hope the weather makes some magor changes soon.
Hayley's studio shots were fun, she is a cute and beautiful young woman. Being a dancer shows in her natural poses. She has such graceful hands. It was wonderful creating her portraits. We still have to take her location shots, when mother nature decides to grace us with some sun we will take advantage of it.

Steve Smith, Mountain Valley High

Steve is very patient, we had a session scheduled a few weeks ago, It poured all day. I resceduled and just before we finished his session it started raining again.I shot a few pics with Hannah in the studio. When Hannah comes for her session we will finish steve's. Sorry Steve, I promise we will complete your portraits soon.

Little Miss Payton

Little Payton, Just over 5lbs, came to the studio at only 5 days old. She still had her cord. She is so sweet and so small. I forgot how small infants are. It has been 13 years since my youngest was that size. Actually she wasn't ever that small.

We will have to do some more portraits soon. She is a daddy's girl and Ryan is so good with her. Congratulations Sabrina and Ryan. A little girl to add to your Family. Now Camden and Mathius have a beautiful little sister.

Kristina Everson, Mountain Valley High

Kristina's session was fun. She is a cute, funny, beautiful young lady. We laughed and came up with some fun poses and she was the first girl to use my new flowered chair that I love so much.

Myles Mercier, Mountain Valley High

Myles came to the studio a few days ago with Marissa and I took a few shots of the two of them. We had great weather so I decided to go to a variety of places to give myles alot of choices. It took a while but it was worth while. Myles and marissa were fun and are a cute couple.
