I have been playing in photoshop with new concepts for my new website and brochures for 09'. I have a brand new web template that I absolutely love and can't wait to get underway. I am so busy right now with family photos, sports teams, and studio work that this will have to wait until early 09. I have been to a few workshops recently and have been inspired by their photoshop skills. It's amazing what can be created in the computer, my examples are basic concepts and are no where near as extravagant as some of the other promos out there. I am new to photoshop promo art, but I am anxious to have the time to play more intensely. Check back for more to examples soon.
My sweet little niece was visiting and wanted to play dress up. She knows I have a vast amount of clothes and hats for little girls and women in my studio for props. I let her decide what she wanted to wear, which was a daunting task for her. There are so many to choose from. We had a ball and she was so funny. She really got into character with every outfit. She is growing up so fast and I am glad I took this time to spend with her before "Auntie" isn't cool enough to hang out with.
It was Ella's first birthday. She was a little shy and unsure of what we were up to. She relaxed and played a bit and in return we captured her beautiful little face at 12 months old.
I love to show my students how to take an ordinary photo and make it better. Here are some of the examples for this year's class. I will be showing the "Works of Art" on Monday's class.
Ethan had a shoot a while ago, I was so busy at the time I didn't really have the time to look them over and edit my favs. I am glad I revisited them. I love the fashion look and want to incorporate this in my seniors. Ethan is a great subject and is going to be the intro to my fashion page on my new upcoming fabulous website!
