Cassidy from Dirigo High was one of the last girls to have a senior session with Studio 6. We are lucky the leaves were so beautiful. I wanted a soft look with the colors of the backgrounds. It was a gloomy day so the soft light works well with her clothing. The soft look of the portraits goes well with her sweet look.
Patrick and Katie are the sweetest couple. They are very easy going. It rained a lot on their wedding day and they just took it in stride. If you look in the water behind them you can see the rain drops. We did a quick shoot with the two of them before heading to the reception. I heard rain is good luck, but they won't need luck. They are so in love and will be together forever.
I wanted to experiment with one light source so I grabbed my girls and took a few shots. The shot of them together was studio lights. One main light and a kicker light. All the rest are window light only. No reflectors or bouncing of light. It was fun and I learned a bit more about light and the structure of the face. I love the shots. I love the soft light source.
Tim and Sabrina tied the knot in beautiful Yarmouth. The day was sunny and chilly but the warmth they share as a couple was amazing. they are in love and it showed. They are a little shy, so it took some encouragement for the couple to relax and be themselves. I took every shot with available light, without flash. I was pleased with myself. I love the shots and I had a wonderful time.
Julie had her session on location only. Her dog is a very important part of her life and brought her for a few shots. We went to her camp at Murray's Cove and took advantage of the sun and water. The shots and Julie are beautiful. The pooch isn't bad either.
